What Are Artifacts?
Artifacts are passive equipment pieces that drop while drilling blocks in Drill Blocks for Brainrots. Each world contains up to 10 unique artifacts. Collecting them boosts drill power, CPS, offline earnings, or movement stats depending on the piece. The July 2026 update expanded artifact tables across all worlds including The Moon.
How Artifacts Drop
Artifacts roll from the same block-break loot table as brainrots but at a lower rate. You do not need to reach floor blocks — any broken tile in a world can award an artifact you have not yet unlocked. Farming strategy:
- Drill in the target world continuously; side blocks often drop faster than floor tiles.
- Higher drill tiers do not increase artifact drop rate — only break speed matters.
- Duplicates typically convert to upgrade shards rather than occupying inventory slots.
World Artifact Sets
GoldenClover Studios assigns 10 artifacts per world biome. Examples by progression layer:

Exact artifact names shift between patches — track your collection UI for missing slots.
Optimal Equip Priority
- Early game: Drill power artifacts until zone floors break in under 30 seconds.
- Mid game: CPS % artifacts once plot is 70%+ filled with Rare+ units.
- Late game: Offline cap and trait-duration artifacts for passive income builds.
- Rebirth prep: Temporarily swap to drill-power artifacts to re-unlock worlds faster after reset.
Artifacts vs Mutations
Artifacts modify your character stats globally; mutations modify individual brainrot CPS. Both stack multiplicatively. A plot full of Diamond Epics plus CPS artifacts outperforms hunting Primordial units with empty artifact slots — see best builds for combined templates.
Collection Checklist
- Finish all 10 artifacts in your current world before portal-hopping permanently.
- Return to earlier worlds if rebirth locked portals — starter artifacts still help DPS.
- Pair artifact farming with rare brainrot sessions to double session value.
