What Is CPS?
CPS (Cash Per Second) is the sum of income from all brainrots placed on your plot, modified by mutations, traits, rebirth multipliers, and any active boosts. CPS determines how fast you afford drills, world unlocks, and rebirth requirements. It also drives offline earnings when you log out.
The CPS calculator lets you model roster changes before selling or swapping units — preventing accidental downgrades when replacing a vanilla Rare with a flashy Common mutation.
How CPS Is Calculated
Approximate formula per brainrot slot:
Slot CPS = Base Rarity CPS × Mutation Multiplier × Trait Multiplier × Rebirth Multiplier × Level Bonus
Total plot CPS equals the sum of all occupied slots. Empty pedestals contribute zero — a common hidden leak in mid-game accounts. Reference multiplier bands on mutations and traits pages.
Using the Calculator
- List each placed brainrot with base rarity CPS from inspect UI.
- Apply mutation tier (Gold, Diamond, Galaxy, Lava, Rainbow).
- Apply trait if present (Volcanic through Bubblegum).
- Multiply by account rebirth multiplier from rebirth page.
- Add slots together; compare against target drill or rebirth costs.

Swap Decision Example
You consider replacing a vanilla Epic (10K base CPS) with a Gold Rare (5K base × ~1.5 mutation ≈ 7.5K). Calculator shows net loss — keep Epic. Conversely, Diamond Rare (5K × ~2.5) beats vanilla Epic — swap immediately.

CPS vs Burst Income
CPS is passive income. Selling brainrots or one-time quest rewards are bursts — do not confuse them in calculator inputs. Burst cash helps drill upgrades; CPS sustains long-term progression and rebirth cadence via rebirth calculator.
Maximizing CPS Legitimately
- Fill every pedestal before buying luxury drills.
- Farm trait events for multiplicative spikes.
- Level brainrots if leveling exists in current patch.
- Rebirth at optimal intervals for multiplier growth.
- Replace bottom 20% of plot after every major farming session.
CPS growth is compound — small improvements across ten slots beat one Mythic in a single slot with empties elsewhere.
