What Are Brainrots?
Brainrots are collectible meme-inspired units you find by drilling blocks in Drill Blocks for Brainrots. Each has a rarity tier, a base CPS (cash per second when placed), and optional mutations or traits that multiply income. They are the engine of your tycoon — drills get you to them; they pay for everything else.
This database organizes every known tier and how they fit into progression. Individual character names rotate with updates; rarity and CPS bands stay consistent across patches.
Rarity Overview
Brainrots span these tiers from common drops to chase end-game units:
- Common — Surface zones. Tutorial and filler plot units.
- Uncommon — Upper-mid zones. First units worth keeping briefly.
- Rare — Mid-depth floors. Core mid-game income.
- Epic — Deep mid zones. Rebirth requirement material.
- Legendary — Deep zones and events. Long-term plot staples.
- Mythic — Very deep or event-exclusive. High CPS anchors.
- Primordial — End-game chase tier before Eternal.
- Eternal — Rarest tier. Trophy units with top-base CPS.

How to Read Brainrot Stats
When inspecting a unit in-game, check:
- Base CPS — Income per second at level 1 without modifiers.
- Rarity color — Border or nameplate color matches tier.
- Mutation tag — Text under name (Golden, Diamond, etc.).
- Trait tag — Event label if captured during weather events.
- Sell value — Instant cash if sold; usually scales with rarity and mutation.

Where Brainrots Spawn
Loot tables tie to zone depth — not individual block types. Deeper floors shift weights toward higher rarities. Events temporarily inject trait variants into the same tables. Consult the zone map for floor requirements and the events page for trait windows.
Crates and shop offers (if available) provide alternate sources with independent odds. Free players should still prioritize drilling over paid crates until late game.
Mutations & Traits on Any Brainrot
Any rarity can roll any mutation at spawn time. A Rainbow Common is still a Common for rebirth gates but may earn like an Epic. Traits apply only during their capture event. Full rules: mutations and traits.
