What Are Worlds?
Worlds are major progression layers above individual zone floors in Drill Blocks for Brainrots. Each world introduces new block textures, higher HP pools, exclusive brainrot tables, and sometimes unique event modifiers. Unlocking a new world is a milestone comparable to buying a top-tier drill — plan both together using the zone map.
Named Worlds (July 2026)
The current build supports up to 10 worlds unlocked via portal progression from the spawn hub. Confirmed or commonly referenced biomes include:
- Surface / Starter — Tutorial zone, Common through Epic spawns.
- Candy World — Mid-game portal; elevated Rare and Legendary tables.
- Light World — Crystal-themed blocks; artifact set focused on CPS.
- Void World — Late mid-game; Mythic chase spawns during events.
- The Moon — July 2026 addition; Moon Shadow and lunar bonuses — zone reference.
Portal unlock typically requires clearing the deepest floor of the prior world and using the portal NPC multiple times. See the July 2026 update log for patch-specific portal changes.
Starter World (Surface Mines)
The default world every player accesses at spawn. Contains Floors 0 through approximately 5–6 depending on patch. Spawns range from Common through Epic with rare Legendary outliers during events.
Unlock: Automatic. Goal: Learn mechanics, fill plot, afford first rebirth requirements, and max mid-tier drills before moving on.
Secondary Worlds (Mid Game)
GoldenClover Studios typically adds a second biome — lava, ice, crystal cavern, or industrial theme — gated by:
- Minimum drill tier (Electric/Cyber class)
- Cash fee or crystal cost at a world portal NPC
- Rebirth count ≥ 1 on some builds
Expect Rare through Legendary as standard drops, with Mythic as chase spawns. If you enter and blocks take minutes to break, return to power upgrades.
Deep Worlds (Late Game)
Third and fourth worlds host Mythic, Primordial, and occasional Eternal spawns. Gates often require:
- High rebirth count (5+ in similar titles)
- Obsidian-tier or higher drills
- Quest completion (collect X Epic brainrots, break Y floor blocks)
These worlds define leaderboard racing. Farm during trait events for units that stay best-in-slot after logout via offline earnings.
Event & Limited Worlds
Seasonal events sometimes open temporary worlds with exclusive trait tables or mutation boosts. They disappear when the event ends — prioritize logging in during announcements on our events page. Limited world brainrots may stay in inventory permanently even after the map closes.
Recommended Unlock Order
- Clear Starter World through Epic-reliable floors.
- First rebirth if calculator approves — rebirth calculator.
- Unlock World 2 with Electric-tier drill minimum.
- Farm Legendaries until plot saturated; push World 3 with Obsidian-tier.
- World 4+ only with Frostbite/Void drills and 5+ rebirths.
Skipping worlds with under-leveled gear wastes time — block HP checks exist for a reason.
World vs Plot Strategy
Higher worlds mean better brainrots, but only if you can safely extract and place them. Keep one lobby trip planned every session to bank earnings and swap plot units using the best builds templates.
